Various beginner golf equipment pieces and sets get advertised on golf channels and on the internet. These markers help you identify the place where your ball landed and came to a stop on the green without interfering with the play of the other people playing the hole with you. Golf etiquette dictates that the person farthest from the hole plays first. The play of the people before you could be disrupted by your ball if a marker is not used. These are not expensive at all but incredibly necessary for a good game of golf when playing with others.

The final thing to invest in is a good set of beginner's golf clubs. You don't want to invest in the priciest set of clubs you can find when you're first learning the game. When learning the game, you don't know if you need steel shafts or flexible shafts. You also won't know the height you need for the best fit. You won't know if you need clubs that can help you with distance and control or if a pair of gloves would help you more. Beginning golfers can be tempted to buy many different pieces of golf equipment. There are several distracting gadgets and gizmos available for golfers. But it's better to start out buying only the equipment that is necessary for beginners, and build your inventory as your game improves. Start with these basics and you'll be ready to move on to the next level of golf equipment before you know it.
